UFC 226 Fight Card Start Time: Miocic vs Cormier

Headlining the card at the T-Mobile Arena is the eagerly-anticipated heavyweight title fight between champion Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier.

Cormier’s return to the heavyweight division provides him with the opportunity to become only the second fighter in the promotion’s history to hold two titles simultaneously, a feat achieved by Conor McGregor at UFC 205.

UFC 226s co-main event of the evening is another corker which comes in the shape of a featherweight title fight between Max Holloway and the in-form Brian Ortega. The first bout is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT. The main event features UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic putting his belt on the line against light heavyweight titleholder Daniel Cormier. International Fight Week is here, and UFC 226 is only a matter of days away.

In the main event of, arguably, the most anticipated fight card of the year, heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will look to defend his title against light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in what is being hailed as a true “Superfight.”

Not to be outdone, the co-main event of the evening on July 7th will be between Waianae native and featherweight champion Max Holloway vs. Brian Ortega in what signals the new era of fighters 145 pounds.
